Have loved this pie ever since my folks took me to the Van Nuys location in the '50s. Was our go to for birthdays & other celebrations. Still a great pizza!!
The wings are pretty good, but the "large" pizza ( although good) was a pretty big disappointment after opening the box. The box was built for a large pizza, but the actual pizza is clearly not a large.
My history with Barone's goes back to my childhood, quite awhile ago. My mom would bring home a pizza and spaghetti once a week, and it was my favorite. Back in those days they had spots in Toluca Lake and Valley Village, but over the years those spots closed and I really thought it had gone. Then I moved to the West Valley and saw Barone's and could not believe that it was/is the same. I can have the same pasta, the same pizza, the same delicious meatballs. Like I'd died and gone to heaven truly. I am so delighted that they are still around and offer delivery. It is consistently great! Thank you Barone's for the many years of deliciousness!
Ordered a pizza to go , the pizza was amazing and my husband and I are pizza snobs. He's from Chicago so every pizza we've had in California doesn't measure up. But Barones was excellent. Service was great very friendly. Definitely recommend ordering the pizza we are going back to try other dishes. They have a pretty good menu.They also have outside seating
Had a special luncheon for my staff at work. The other pizza place was closed and I didn't want to get my team Dominoes so I found this place. When I walked in, I expected to see Tony Soprano. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Pizza had a good taste to it. I recommend this place and will return.
